| Commercialisation |
| Commercialisation includes the delivery and sale of produced and contract hydrocarbons to ONHYM clients. Hydrocarbon commercialisation (of both natural gas and condensate) constitutes the principal income of ONYHM and helps balance its budget. |
| Hydrocarbon transport |
The delivery of ONHYM's natural gas production located in the Gharb and Essaouira regions is by pipeline. The condensate is transported by tanker.

GATHERING SYSTEMS AND PIPELINE NETWORKS
- ESSAOUIRA / YOUSSOUFIA - |
The ONHYM has a network of pipelines with a total length of 158 km in the Gharb Basin and 160 km in the Essaouira Basin. This pipeline system consists of a number of short pipes of small diameter connecting the wells to meter stations and processing plants, and longer and larger diameter pipelines to supply the gas to industrial users.
The pipeline has many advantages, including a very low operating cost, a short direct route and insensitivity to weather conditions. It requires, however, large initial investments for the acquisition and implementation of the pipeline.
Maintenance and management systems are in place to ensure the transportation of natural gas and condensate meet all the standards for safety and environmental protection. |
| Clients of ONHYM |
In the Essaouira basin, natural gas is sold to the Office Chérifien des Phosphates (OCP) at the Youssoufia mining center and is used for the energy needs of drying and calcination units. The condensate is sold to the SAMIR refinery at Mohammadia.
In the basin of the Gharb, ONHYM and its partners sell natural gas to the Compagnie Marocaine de Carton et de Papier (CMCP) |
