General and door to door promotional campaigns are planned. They aim the promotion of Moroccan Basins that are either given back by previous partners or are open areas, to independent, national and international companies, by attending major oil centers of South East Asia, Europe and America. In 2009, ONHYM has planned two promotional campaigns:
- A door to door one, held in Houston from 14 to 18 September, 2009. The companies that were visited are: BHP Billiton (Americas) Inc.; Plains E & P Co., Devon Energy Corp.; Hess and Petrobras Americas. This campaign focus was: the exploration opportunities in Morocco, especially in Essaouira Offshore Basin, Safi Offshore Basin and Rabat Offshore Basin, the hydrocarbon code and the gas sector in Morocco.
- Another door to door campaign is scheduled at the end of this year in Australia.
