2 December 2009 :
Signature of a Petroleum Agreement between ONHYM and the Australian company DVM INTERNATIONAL LIMITED covering 8 permits named « Tarfaya Offshore I to VIII » with an area of 15 041 sq Km. During the initial validity period, DVM commits to acquire 3D seismic and reprocess 2D and 3D seismic data as well as G&G studies.
13 November 2009 :
Signature of two Petroleum Agreements « Loukos Offshore » and « Casablanca Offshore » covering respectively « Loukos Offshore I » permit on the one hand and « Casablanca Offshore A & B » and « Safi Offshore » permits on the other hand, between ONHYM and MAGHREB PETROLEUM EXPLORATION.
October 2009 :
Petroleum Africa‘s Small NOC award goes to ONHYM
Petroleum Africa Magazine surveyed Africa’s National Oil Companies (NOC) to determine those that have had a successful run over the past year and are deserving the Annual NOC award.
With over 40 NOC’s across the continent, ONHYM was chosen as the small NOC that deserves the Award among three other finals; Tanzania’s TPDC, Tunisia’s ETAP and Ghana’s GNPC.
The success ONHYM has had in bringing in new partners and expanding existing ones, the company’s open door policy in relation to the proactive promotion of the large opportunities for exploration both onshore and offshore and recent gas discoveries are the main reason of this award For more details.
