ENI and Qatar Petroleum entered into a farm-out agreement on the 12 permits located in the Tarfaya Offshore Shallow area. Under this agreement and subject to regulatory approvals, the Italian major ENI (holding currently 75% of the permits) assigns to Qatar Petroleum 30% of its percentage interest and keeps 45%, and remains the operator. ONHYM holds 25% of said permits.
The second Moroccan Oil and Gas Summit held in Marrakech on February 6 and 7, 2019 saw the participation of more than 200 participants, representing the world of the oil industry, oil and servicing companies.
As part of the strengthening of cooperation relations in the fields of mining and hydrocarbons, ONHYM signed a partnership agreement with the SMHPM (Société Mauritanienne des Hydrocarbures et du Patrimoine Minier) on the sidelines of the Mauritanides conference held in Nouakchott from December 11 to 13, 2018.
