Rabat June 3rd 2009:
The Office National des Hydrocarbures et des Mines « ONHYM » and its partner Circle Oil Maroc Limited, subsidiary of the Irish company Circle Oil Plc, announced that the fifth well CGD10 drilled in the « Sebou » permit encountered two gas accumulations with a thickness of 3.3 and 2 meters. The drilling operations of this well started on April 27th 2009.
Short time well tests has been done by Circle Oil Maroc Limited and shows a flow of 110 000 m3 per day. The long-term well testing which will provide more precise evaluation of the well potential will be realized later.
Circle Oil Maroc Limited initiated, under Sebou onshore petroleum agreement signed with ONHYM on June 14th 2006, exploration work including geological study, 2D and 3D seismic. The first 6 drilling campaign was initiated in September 2008 to evaluate the anomalies detected by 3D seismic conducted at the end of 2007.
The first four wells permitted the discovery of gas levels with different sizes.
Production of these wells will increase gas production already existing in the Gharb Basin and cover the needs of industries in the region.

In the framework of the partnership ONHYM - CIRCLE OIL on the permit called Sebou, a campaign of six drillings have been undertaken since September 2008 in the Gharb basin by the Irish company CIRCLE OIL.
The works of the 4th well DRJ-6 started on April 1st, 2009. DRJ-6 well reached a total depth of 1366 meters and encountered 4 meters of gas bearing sands.
Due to technical difficulties encountered during the execution of this well and the unavailability of adequate equipment, the tests of the gas accumulation have not been undertaken immediately after the end of the drilling operations.
These tests were postponed until the adequate equipment will be available.
Natural gas discovery on Tanger - Larache Offshore
The Office National des Hydrocarbures et des Mines is pleased to inform that REPSOL YPF, GAS NATURAL and DANA PETROLEUM PLC , ONHYM'S PARTNERS , have made a gas discovery in the Tanger-Larache licence, offshore northwest Morocco, The Anchois-1 discovery well is located about 40km from the coast and was drilled to a total depth of 2,435m. Two intervals of high quality, gas-bearing sands, were encountered in the well. ONHYM together with its co-venturers, Repsol, Gas Natural and DANA decided not to test the Anchois-1 well, but instead to suspend it as a potential future producer. Repsol as operator and its co-venturers are now analysing all the data acquired before deciding on further exploration drilling in the Tanger Larache license, the other prospects in the license having been significantly de-risked by the Anchois discovery.
SEBOU PERMIT AND OULAD NZALA CONCESSION
Circle oil and ONHYM announce that the exploration well CGD-9 has been
drilled, logged and successfully tested in the Sebou Permit, Morocco.
Circle oil confirms a discovery in the Lower Guebbas Formation with the well
testing gas at a sustained rate of 8.86MMscfd. The well has been completed
as a potential producer.
Furthermore planning for the extended well test on the ONZ-6 discovery,
which flowed under test at a sustained rate of 3.32MMscfd, is well advanced
and initial analysis of the results from the well testing indicates that the
well is likely to be commercial.
The final Reserve estimation will not be known until completion and analysis
of the extended well test.
